Well. I went on a date. They seem so happy, kept calling me pretty and said I smelled nice. I know I'm probably aroace. I wish I could feel romantic love, have sexual desires. Besides the hug, I didn't care to do anything else. Am I weird for wanting to stay a virgin? I keep trying to find things to keep me alive. How does anyone have the motivation for anything..

I on the other hand wish I didn't have all these sexual (and sometimes romantic) desires basically 24/7, its killing me

As for having the motivation for anything, I don't know. I have no motivation for anything other than reading/writing here occasionally, watching YouTube, various Star Wars content, porn and masturbate.
Today I read about dating on reddit which just made me even more depressed, I don't know why I torture myself with these things as I know they will make me feel even worse. Haven't had a date or sex in more than 6 years (around when covid started).

Pretty sad state of affairs.

How is it weird when they don't desire anyone, and don't desire anything beyond a hug? The opposite would be weird. If someone has zero sexual appetite, zero sexual attraction, zero sexual desire, zero sexual curiosity, how would not remaining a virgin fit into that? How is it weird to not want to experience something you don't desire in the slightest?

If you frame it with these premises it's not weird at all.

It is however weird to not have the attraction, desire, curiosity and appetite as you put it. As in not normal, not what most people want, which is my definition of weird. By that everyone here including me is weird, because most people don't want to CTB. But even most of us who do, still have sexual desires.
