  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Been wondering about telling my Mom that if I reach a point where the pain and depression becomes so unbearable for me that I want to die around my family. Similar to the dignitas way of going. I don't wish to die alone but if it ever comes to that point then I will do it.

But what I prefer is to have some kind of ctb plan that is somewhat peaceful and that my family can be with me when I go. Anyone know of something similar to dignitas in Mexico?

I'm not familiar with anything, sorry. I doubt most families would be accepting of that arrangement either.

It might be illegal for your family to know in advance or be with you - unfortunately

Unfortunately I cannot let my parents know until it is too late and I am already dead. Parents usually want their kid alive and will never accept your will to die as they don't share your experience.

We all should have the option of a dignified peaceful death/euthanasia. It isn't as though any of us asked to be alive and suffer in the first place. I do not know the answer to your question, where I live such a thing does not exist as society does everything to preserve life. My parents would not accept my decision to ctb. That is the kind of death that I want though, where everyone knows about it in advance.
