Netizens on Sina Weibo (one of the most popular social platforms in China) have been discussing about how the passenger CTBed in the toilet of flight. It's said that they might have utilized the low air pressure in the plane. But regarding how to make it, I didn't see details. I think it'd be similar to how inert gas method works. I thought you were talking about ole skyking and how he ctb with a hijacked airplane that he eventually crashed.
Maybe he smuggled drugs onboard through a less secure airline check point.
