Yeah it's annoying a conspiracy can attract a lot of attention and get people thinking, but before most even see it themselves everyone just says "meh it's misinformation" and continue about their day. What happened to thinking for ourselves? Instant gratification is what people rely on these days and if they can't get it, they'll go another route until they do... anything more than a google search or YouTube video is too much work though.

Then again, most believe in God so it's hard to argue with those people anyway. But I'll be the bad guy if I bring that into play... totally believable story though lol.

That sounds like Immortal Technique. And yes there's a big "Holohoax" community as well. There's a lady that was punished by Germany for a video she did denying the holocaust happened the way it was depicted.

But I am surprised by how many people are against any conspiracy about COVID 19.. that's scarier than a video being spread.

There's also a guy who used to run a pretty large 9/11Truth group who is now bragging about how he just got a job as a Contact Tracer.
I guess I've had a few years to realize how delusion people really really are (after getting called a Holocaust denier for quoting Tech...), so sadly, I'm not surprised...

Also, remember, the people in Government and regular citizens are different, and usually have conflicting views.

OMG dont go down the rabbit hole. Have you noticed how conspiracy theorists aren't interested in actual genuine conspiracies (like governments infiltrating trade unions) in favour of science denial and extreme right-wing bullshit? This shit will poison your mind.

I'd suggest there are 2 flavors of "conspiracy theorists" : cold McDonald's hamburger and hamburger with free-range meat, fresh baked bun, just picked tomato...
About 5-10 years ago, it was very easy to find the higher-quality stuff and it often appealed to regular liberal types. Speakers would sometimes say "Listen....even though I am a Regan-Republican, give my ideas a chance..."

In general, the more hysterical yelling there is, the more "McDonalds" it is.

Snowden comes out with truth, with really real unfabricated evidence and no one bats an eye. Our 4th amendment rights have been stripped long before the virus and no one bats an eye. Police doing whatever the fuck they want and no one bats an eye.

Some fraudulent scientist shilling a book makes a video and the everyone instantly believes it.
