5 bottles of Barboval should provide the minimum lethal dose of Phenobarbital, which is stated to be 2 grams. One bottle is 25ml, with 17mg Phenobarbital per 1ml. This stuff seems not to be as regulated on the web. For those living in Europe, you might have a much better chance to stockpile. Note, the lethal dose ranges from 2 - 10 grams.

Pros: Cheaper, Sold legally in some countries
Cons: Not a pure substance, need to stockpile a lot to get the desired amount

I see it as the great option, because it's so easily sourced from non-flagged non-suspicious EU countries, as opposed to N, which only gets sent from places like Mexico. I don't see having to buy a whole package as a con, that's necessary with N, too, and actually even more expensive. Plus, what does it matter, when one is about to leave this weird plane of existence anyways. Most sources sell it as very small pills, with 100mg each, as opposed to N, which mostly comes in liquid form. I don't know the dosage, or anything, of the Ukraine source mentioned here, and would recommend to go for one of the Western/Central EU vendors anyways, Ukraine is a flagged country.

There is 9.8mg Phenobarbital per capsule. I guess they are purposely not lising the ingredients to get around ebays rules. The shelf life of the capsules is also listed as 1.5 years, whereas the liquid is up to 3 years.

I agree. There is less chance of it being confiscated by customs, and it's intended use is not as obvious. Customs could still confiscate on the basis of quantity, but that can be worked around.
