I got accepted today, its not a top-tier school, some would barely consider an applause for it— but it made me happy.

I never thought id get this far. Its weird, almost surreal. Idk how to feel about it. Im moving forward and its scary, terrifying— and i have no one else to say this to. But im proud of myself— shockingly.

Awesome! I will still applaud you for this, as it is a huge step in the right direction!

I started a community college back in 2023, and now I've been accepted and am transferring to a university to complete my Bachelors. It might get hard and stressful (this is true regardless of major, but some majors are more stressful than others), but I will wholeheartedly say, going to college has changed my life for the better. I know this might be a rather positive reply on the Suicide Discussion subforum, but this thread was at the top of new threads on the homepage.

May I ask what you plan to major in?

Ah! Hello, sorry, i hadnt been on here in a while, my life is.. a lot right now haha

i plan to major in film, specifically directing and cinematography! i decided that it was better than choosing something that will make me secure yet miserable, lol.
