Okay, at the risk of it seeming like I'm trying to milk this thread for everything it's worth... I have an update.

I went in to the back field today...there are now two cocks.

I said something I never thought I would ask anyone: "Er...so you have two cocks now?"

Well, the cocks are multiplying. I don't know much about chickens, but I'm guessing one of the younger ones grew up and started to display, so maybe the others might too. I could have a field full of cocks at this rate.

In other news though, my ears are currently unblocked so I may be able to use ear plugs soon. They currently block/unblock as I'm oiling them, so a little longer and maybe I can stop oiling and they will stay open. I have three different earplug types to try. That would make things so much easier.
