Discussion Chronic Respiratory Illness

[Lost in a Dream]

I was considering putting this in off topic originally, but I think it belongs here instead, because chronic illness seems to be a huge motivator for a lot of people to CTB. It wasn't a problem for me when I first came here, but now I think all the years of working with cleaning chemicals professionally at different jobs is taking its toll, since I didn't protect myself from the gases like I was supposed to until it was too late.

I tried a few times to get it diagnosed before it got too bad, but doctors don't like being thorough if you can't afford it or don't have good insurance. I also made the mistake of inhaling toxic dust a few months ago, but even though I tried to cough it out, I think some of it is still stuck and it could be killing me from the inside. I didn't tell anyone since I wanted to die anyway, and I'm still keeping it a secret because I don't care that much.

So, about the poll, I was wondering if anyone else has similar problems and how they influence your decision making. For me, I'm going to pick undiagnosed because I don't know what the disease actually is. I just know how it feels. If anyone would rather not say, you can vote for that option, or if you have multiple issues, then you can vote for more than one.
