Bitter almonds pits and aprikot pits contain 4 to 10 times higher cyanide than cherry pits.

You supposed to crush them so the poison can be released otherwise you will shit it out

Also you need bitter pits, there are species of these kind of fruit which are deliberatly made sweet. Therefore containing much less

Thanks for sharing. Cyanide death is awful and I read that hundreds of pits are needed for a lethal dose, so it's not recommended as a method.

You said yourself that apricot pits have at least 4 times the amount of cyanide compared to cherry pits. Why not just use them?

as others have said, cyanide is not recommended because it's painful and unpredictable. and many survivors have long term health effects and cognitive issues.

fun fact: the jonestown massacre, a famous mass murder-suicide of a cult called the peoples temple, was carried out with cyanide. some of the audio was recorded in the jonestown death tape.

if you listen to the jonestown death tape, in the background you can hear kids (and some adults) screaming and crying after being poisoned with cyanide. the poisoned liquid had cyanide and sedatives in it, and people were also dosed with sedatives in their food several hours earlier. but they still seemed to suffer a lot despite the sedatives. a lot of the adults didn't want to drink it after they saw how painful it was to die by cyanide, so the guards held them down and injected them with cyanide instead, or shot them.

Seems awfull, although if you look at some video where someone take it, they just shake and collapse and die very quickly. So yeah it's not the most painless. But very quickly

Some bitter almonds are processed to remove the toxic amygdalin, ESPECIALLY if you live in a developed, wellfare country.
Also yeah, since we cannot calculate exactly how much amigdalin there is in each individual fruit pits or almonds, it comes to a guesswork. I think the most difficult part of dying from this is that you have to eat a huge amount if you want to be sure. Then, eating huge amounts of those can induce vomiting.
