Ten years ago, I was in pre-op waiting for surgery. The only thing I wanted to do was get dressed and leave. I wanted to run away and never come back, abort the surgery, fuck consequences (dying). My best friend stopped me. I regret staying. As far as I'm concerned, my life ended that day anyway.

The last words I ever said to my mum at 12 years old being "I wish you were dead". All because she was sending me to bed for the first day back at school the next day and I was being a brat and didn't want to go to bed.
Well karma had the last laugh and she died of an unexpected heart attack at 2am that night.
Whilst i have come to accept she would have known I didn't mean it and she knew I loved her, it is still one of my biggest regrets.

I honestly feel like most of my problems were inevitable. I couldn't have prevented them. I guess i'm prone to bad luck or something. I guess I regret existing in the first place.
