Is there any particular antidepressant you recommend with the least side effects? I know we all react to things differently, but certainly there are some that are better than others for most.

You ain't lying. There are places using MDMA for PTSD as well, in therapeutic doses - I'd legitimately suggest anyone to try this in a safe environment. The different perspective can be life changing in of itself for some.Shrooms.
You didn't gain weight on Lithium? There is no "best" since everyone is different. But I tried Trintellix, and it had no side effects at all. Prozac and lithium were relatively side effect free, as well. But none of them completely did the job for me. I'm a very complex case. :(
Have you never considered ECT? For treatment-resistant depression? Just curious...Many years ago when I was still naive enough to try to "cure" depression I tried many antidepressants, almost all mentioned above. None of them really worked, some temporary placebo effect at the best. Definitely a treatment-resistant depression in my case and no wonder, as I don't even consider it as an "illness" anymore, it's a part of me and goes well with my worldview.
I've been curious about this one! Would love to hear more about your experience on this drug, if you were so inclined. I've never "met" anyone who has taken this.Selegine

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one! They made me take Fluoxetine years ago, and when I would try go to sleep, all I'd hear is voices calling my name over and over again. Not whispers though.although i got these very scary side effects where i would hear my name getting whispered when noone was there
