Hey.
After doing a lot of research for the past months, today I booked a night at an hotel and I'm already in my room. I have made the tea from about 40 nerium oleander leaves and I've been trying to get the courage to drink it mixed with an orange juice. I have about 1,5l of tea and 2l of juice. I also have bought an antiemetic that doesn't need prescription (Dimenhydrinate), I understand that this might be a little bit weak but I got it anyway and now I was planning on buying buscopan for the abdominal pain. I also have trazodone (will help me sleep) and mexazolam (benzodiazepine derivative, helps with anxiety)

I'm so desperate and have absolutely no hope for the future but SI is still kicking.

Somebody has any experience with nerium oleander?

I don't know if I will get too scared when the effects start to kick in and then ask for help... I think I would never forgive myself for being such a coward

P.s - writing from portugal, excuse my poor english

See case report example here https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7889672/

This plant is very common here in Portugal, you can see it everywhere. I just cut it in the streets when no one was watching.

I ended the full drink at ~11:40 pm and i am now going to take two trazodone pills (300mg) to help me sleep. The effects should start at 3 am

Don't feel bad to seek help if you want to abort the plan. I have no knowledge on this method and cannot confirm or deny if anything will happen so that's why I'm saying this.

May you find peace either way you end up going.

Hey. So nothing happened... I just got a huge headache that wasn't letting me sleep and I also experienced what looked like arrhythmias and heart beating stronger. But both this symptoms are things that I'm used to in my daily life so not sure it has something to do with the tea or maybe it is just anxiety...

I still have 500ml of tea, I'm thinking if I will try it again , maybe with less juice?

I'm so sad that this didn't work out. I don't know how to deal with life anymore

I'm sorry for you, but I think you shouldn't take things that are not reliable. If you fail again, you could go to the hospital and they will ask a lot of questions.
Take care

Yes, Oleander is quite common here in Florida also, pretty pink and white flowering plants, and quite poisonous as well

Yeah plant ODs tend to be unreliable. I've never seen a successful one (though someone is welcome to provide a successful example).

There's just no way to know how much of the requisite poison is in each plant part you are attempting to consume and sometimes the quantity is so massive you won't be able to consume enough.

Not sure how the Romans and Greeks were so successful with hemlock, maybe they knew how to grow it properly to ensure adequate amounts of poison?

Idk, sorry your choice didn't work out in the way you wanted it to.

Looked into this a bit. Two sites below say that it can be fatal but fatalities are actually rare with the plant. The poison can also damage multiple organs. Also, you are making a tea. Is that the optimal way to draw out the poison? Would a tincture be better? Are you using the leaves? One study mentions people (in India with yellow oleander) that ingested the crushed seeds instead.

I also agree what has been said above. Plant methods are very unreliable and are not recommended.
