Anyone else hate babies?

I worked as a midwife for 9 years and now work with children in a different capacity and I don't particularly like babies and I have 5 of my own children.
I like my own..... not keen on others ....

Yes!! Children are disgusting germ-carrying monsters. Even when I was a child myself I recall never having many friends my age. I thought many other children were also gross despite being on myself. I will never have kids. I have health issues that prevent me from having them, I hope I never accidentally get pregnant. I would not even think twice about keeping it. Honestly, I am starting to not even be able to stand my own pets, just other living things, in general, annoy me. Everything is an obligation even plants!

I think babies are cute when they're not screaming and after two the fun is over! I know what it's like to be a parent from 6 mos to 4.5 years. It was not biologically mine, however I still loved her and she was very cute. Short of the story is we got divorced (married at 20, way too young) and I completely changed after that and moved 3000 miles away. Since she was under 5 when I left she would most likely not remember me. My ex-wife got re-married and had a kid with the guy not long after so it all worked out.

Flash forward 20+ years, never thought to have kids and I am with someone who doesn't hate them, but she's always had zero interest and doesn't find them at all cute. I also got a vasectomy which is a must do if you don't ever want to bring kids into this world.

I haven't heard of anyone else ever doing this and it's really weird, but I like getting into staring contests with babies I see out and about. I doubt they care. If anyone actually ever noticed, I think being like "thats a really cute baby!" would honestly be enough. People love it when you say nice things about their nasty kids.

Sometimes I get grossed out when I see people with 4+ of their spawn trailing behind them because it's like you didn't have to do that. Overpopulation is a thing and there are so many kids already out there who need good families but you just had to make a bunch of your own because you felt like it or were irresponsible in your sex life. Thanks.

Finally a place to vent about something that you have to keep hidden from the rest of society (just like ctb in fact !) otherwise they'll consider you totally perverse ! I hate babies, it's not even just a psychological state anymore, I'd say I am ALLERGIC to babies and small children, they trigger some physical reaction of panic and disgust in me ! Even pregnant women I get completely horrified of. I even went to a shrink to try and work on it, since both my partner and my parents really wanted me to have children, so I thought maybe I could find the cause of this profound unease and overcome it somehow. But no way ! Even though I think I found the cause (I hated myself as a small child, and hated the fact that I was so dependant on my mother), it did not help me feeling at ease around babies or toddlers. I still run away in panic if someone turns up with one of those things ! I cannot even see them as humans, they are some sort of disgusting alien species to me. So I had to explain to my family that it was just not possible for me to have children, which caused a great deal of problems....my partner left me and my mother is still pissed off with me since I have not provided an "heir". I really tried very hard, but it's just not possible to get rid of my overwhelming fear and disgust !

Pregnancy gives me very 'parasitic' vibes, as something is growing and developing inside you... And one day it's gonna pop out... And it's not 'you'. That horrifies me.

Hearing newborns cry makes me feel sick because it's a cry of complete vulnerability and helplessness.

My sister is popping out babies like there's no tomorrow right now. She's obsessed with this '2 [babies] under 2 [years old]' trend - yet she can barely handle them without help.

On r/childfree I saw someone refer to babies as 'fuck trophies' and some people's kids really do feel like that.

Quiet, trained disciplined, googoogaagaa-ing babies? Those are fine. I don't hate those. Unfortunately, those are rare.
What I hate is the screaming ones. I get on a bus, a few stops later comes a young mom with a stroller and a baby, and boy, oh boy, is it a fucking nightmare.
It screams, it moves in a weird way like it's entire skeleton is either shattered or it has only like 5 bones, like a basic stickman skeleton. Last time a baby touched me, it felt like a cockroach ran over my arm.

As long as the baby away from me, I'm fine. Can't stand babies.

I really wrote "hate" – I must have been pretty pissed off. To clarify: I don't necessarily hate parents, but procreating is against my principles and so makes me lose respect towards people. I don't hate my parents, they're nice people. Still, they made a mistake since I'm here.
