Hi guys,

Please I need tips on how to use the torniquet method. I followed the five last acts book to the letter but I couldn't get dizzy. The closest I got to a reaction on the last iteration was an extreme discomfort and hyperventilation for no obvious reasons.

If you have any tips on how to do it right, I will appreciate it. And also, how long does it take to get dizzy?

I couldn't make it work either. Maybe I'm one of those few who would only pass out when strangled by Hulk, because no matter how much effort to compress my neck, all I experience is losing my hearing and extreme discomfort, but still no sign of passing out.

Have you found your carotid artery? If you have, maybe you can start placing more pressure there and see where it leads.

Sorry I can't be of more help. At first I was happy when discovering this method: cheap, easy, quick, and peaceful, but I quickly realized it was too good to be true, at least for me. I hope you have better luck than me.

I can find my carotid easily. How do you suggest I put pressure on it?
I'm absolutely at my wit's end and about to give up

Have you read this?

Not exactly the same as tourniquet, but it also applies the compression concept.

Just a small remark: it's "tourniquet", not "torniquet". It's a French word, although the exact French translation of "tourniquet" is actually "garrot" and not "tourniquet".

Yeah, I came across it once. But I'd have to import both the ratchet straps and the bags. I live in Africa, so they are not really in demand. It's worth considering though. I'm thinking of hanging but my mind paints a gruesome image.

Regardless, thanks for your help dude. Really appreciate it

Oh ok, noted. Thank you

I'm assuming you don't have to use ratchet and corn bags. Anything heavy enough to compress your carotid arteries (but not too heavy to the point of discomfort) plus something to keep the weights in place (a belt maybe?) might be able to work too. Just something to consider. I wish you the best of luck.
