*This thread is only theoretical, I'm not recommending anyone should for sure do this as a ctb method*
Amyl nitrite, also known as "poppers", "jungle juice", "buzz", is used as a party drug or sex enhancer. It can give a euphoric high when inhaled or ingested. this chemical is similar to sodium nitrite as it causes methemoglobinemia.
It is available in some places on the clear net as a research chemical.
The LD50 is 505 mg per kg body weight.
So for an average size person say 80 kg, it would be 505 x 80 x 2 then divide by 1000
They would need to take 80 grams of liquid. That's 6 tablespoons / 88 ml
Symptoms of ingestion:
Methemoglobinemia
Increased heart rate
Dizziness
Headache
Shortness of breath
Cyanosis
Drowsiness
Coma
Death
Symptoms of inhalation:
Euphoric high
Feeling drunk
Prolonged inhalation:
Dizziness
Methemoglobinemia
Increased heart rate
Vasodilation
Headache
Cyanosis
Unconsciousness
Death
It can also be absorbed through the skin (with mild irritation) but not sure if it would lead to death.
DOWNSIDES: (This is important)
It's flammable and can be explosive.
Don't mix with water
Smells like dirty socks
It can cause cataracts and organ damage should an attempt fail! So it's all or nothing with this stuff
What do you think?
