Venting Although I’m *PRO CHOICE seeing good people commit makes my heart ache a lil

Save a fox's death actually broke me ngl, I saw the news of it on Twitter and I desperately prayed it wasn't the fox YouTuber who filmed her foxes laughing but turns out it was. Oh my god.

A lot of snark subs are genuinely evil, and I think they should be banned. They start off with good intentions of calling people out but then they spiral into a vortex of genuine hate. I remember I was on one for this mommy blogger and I got downvoted because I told them that it was fucked up to deny someone's experience with racism just because they didn't like her, I then realized they didn't actually care about her children they were just miserable and wanted to discredit her in anyway possible.

If you think someone is problematic (I've heard the allegations of her possibly mistreating the foxes which led to the snark) just ignore them, it's really not worth driving them into suicide especially if the intent is to help the foxes. Call the authorities, and uplift creators you think are better and make them more famous rather than hating so hard.

I made a post about this once before, albeit more locally in regard to people on this forum, to some mixed responses. This was during a time where there were multiple deaths within a week. It sucked, not because I was ideologically opposed to their decisions, but just the generally emptiness it left without them.

I fully get how you feel. Death sucks for the living, regardless of your stance. The comfort of knowing the person is no longer suffering does not make the pain of loss go ahead.

It's harsh, but in the end, we should think about why they did it, and the answer to that is that their existence most likely sucks, and existence as a whole mostly sucks. Each death should be a warning to how much most people are being treated like trash when they really should be treated better. I'm talking in a systemic way, and these trolls are just a byproduct of this.

It aches, it hurts, seeing good people get ignored, hurt and eventually spirit away when they can't take it anymore. It's terrible, and we should think about it, but as something that has crept under the foundations of society itself: Let's make people we want dead feel horrible indirectly so we get rid of undesirables without anyone to directly blame.
