Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

therapy as a concept always felt condescending to me. Like someone telling you what you are thinking and feeling: eliminating your own individual dependency. I understand that some people need that, but i always think that no one knows more about a person, than themself. And ive noticed this kinda treatment with people on the internet as well. Telling me what im are feeling and why. Oh im not actually suicidal? Im just tired and depressed? Even though ive explicitly said that those arent the reasons i want to kill myself? I understand some people want to help but this kinda of help, is so dangerous in my eyes. It hinders a persons own confidence in their own abilities.

In my own experience, im struggling with that exact problem. I dont know who i am, and have no confidence that i can fix myself. And when opening up about this to a psychiatrist, they misdiagnose me, and purposely ignore certain things i say to achieve their own understanding. Now im being treated with antidepressants that arent helping with my problems at all.Its so hard to tell someone that you cant help i get that but this is just so frustrating. Dont try to patronize someone struggling is my point.

This was my experience with most "talk therapy."

I have a headache right now so I can't really describe it better than you already did. My experience was something like: You're thinking wrong, and I also can't do anything practical for you unless you want to medicate all the bad thoughts and emotions away—either way, stop being you. You need to metaphorically die.

That said, I admit I'm being a bit hyperbolic because I'm in a pissy mood. Anyway, I'm sorry you've been through / are still going through that Lou. I might not know all the specifics but I think I relate to the gist of it.

I've always been skeptical to the idea of mental health "help" in general, but especially talk therapy. It seems like they would either just agree with what you tell them or assert that they know better than you.
