  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I suppose if you have a Hickman line and inject large amounts of air into that you might be gone fast but getting the Bends (decompression sickness) when diving is exceptionally painful so I can't imagine it's particularly comfortable. It depends if it manages to cause a large enough embolus.

But the venous system and the arterial system are separate so you'd either aim to explode Your Lungs veinously or Your brain arterially. Doesn't sound a painless and reliable Method to me. As someone who has experienced PE's, DVTs and arterial embolisms I can assure you they are not painless.

I also had a bubble echocardiogram where they purposefully inject small air bubbles into veins to see flow and any abnormalities through the heart so I am now baffled how additional air will cause issues as I lived through that medical procedure. In the bends it's gasses in your blood and body that form bubbles.
