I know I said enough research for today - but here is one more before I sleep as I was just been recommended this - it works in a similar way to Ketamine but easier to source and perhaps more gentle. It should be snorted or taken under the tongue for best efficacy. It is called Agmatine. It is legal in USA but banned in Europe - no idea why.

Very interesting find. I did some quick research, and there are several studies that claim that it indeed works. Something that surprised me is that it evidently can enhance the effects of other medicines, such as lithium. There seem to be no indiatications that it might be addictive either. Where did you here that it's banned in Europe? It can be bought freely in my country.

It's definitely interesting and worth a try. The person who I know who uses it snorts it or sublingual, as easier absorbed that way.

he's just someone I met on a site, that has tried it and it doesn't help him. I'm swapping it for some Kratom, which doesn't help me, and some other stuff. The Kratom gets good reviews from some people.

The price you've got sounds good to me. I was contacting Bulk Powders in USA, but they have not yet replied to tell me if they ship to UK. I did try it before, but have lost it - and I tried swallowing it, rather than snorting/sublingual. So want to give it another shot.

Ive been looking into ketamine clinics in my area. What a total scam. Ketamine is about $100 a gram on the dark web. These clinics will do 6 infusions for 3- 4000. With extra for follow ups as needed. Some places tack on hundreds more for pretreatment consultations. The nasal spray that some insurance covers has half the absorbtion, and is somewhere in the tens of thousands for a course of treatment. I'm blown away by that.

Still didn't have the chance to try it as I can't seem to find the right way to take it but will probably dissolve some in water later today and will report the results.

OK guys, I got a dose yesterday and today (yesterday was around 7 pm local time, and today's dose was at 8 a.m). I don't think if it is my desire for the agmatine to work (i.e placebo effect) or not, but I think it helped me with my anxiety a little. I still feel bad and depressed and hate my life but at least I have some fighting energy with me this morning and can get angry at things that usually made me wanna curl up in a corner and cry my eyes out (I still want to do that, but I CAN also feel some anger). That's an improvement in my book. Again I have to say the improvement is very little and I took only two doses.

As for the taking of the substance - I took about 1g. in 200 ml. water. The water becomes clear once you mix the agmatine in it. The packaging says it doesn't have taste, and that is mostly true although I could feel the water being a tiny bit bitter. That could be just my mind playing tricks on me though.
One more thing I think I should point out is that after I took my dosages I had a bit of a heartburn, but can not confirm that the reason is the agmatine or my eating habits.

Anyway, I will keep taking it and see how it affects me. I will update this thread with more posts in the coming days.

I was using it along with other things and was incredibly sleep deprived and coming off antidepressants, so it was just a blur. I still have a huge jar of the stuff, so I may try it again. The one thing I do remember is that it made me HUNGRY. I ate so much when I took it. I'm talking, marijuana level munchies. This could be a good or bad thing, depending on the person, but something everyone should be aware of. I remember looking it up after a while and reading that it is pretty much a guaranteed side effect.

It could be that even though you're taking in more calories, it also helps your body convert those calories into energy and/or causes your body to not store as much fat. Just guessing, though, I have no idea. Marijuana also causes one to eat more, but it's users tend to be of lower weight. I remember reading about one theory that it causes lower fasting insulin levels, therefore promoting weight loss, since you're body isn't turning those extra calories into fat. Maybe something similar is happening in the body with these two. I used to be a heavy smoker, but had to stop because of my last job and just never started again. So it's been years, but even though I ate a lot more, I never gained weight.
