Venting Abusive family gets life insurance money after I die

So I am struggling to find a stable full time work from home job. I DO NOT WANT TO WORK. Any passion I had has been eradicated. I have an awesome bachelors degree in science. Wanted to go to medical school(WHAT A JOKE) Learned that I actually want humans to die instead. I want to work with Animals but can't drive. The only somewhat job I would be ok with is animals. Unless you are a vet you get paid poverty wages. I do not want to be a slave to make minimum wage and barely afford to live. I also do not want a job where you get degraded and abused and that's every job. My biggest fear is homelessness.

If I die my family gets $100K. I hate my family they are trash. I only live for my cats but I genuinely don't think I can do that anymore because I can't make money to support them. My plan was I work for a bit to save money for the cats then CTB. But I guess I should CTB now so there is 100K in line. My family as awful as they are, like the cats. Not more than me though. I even thought I should CTB after my cats pass but what's the point if I can't support them?

That's all I was created for I guess, an Insurance check.

If you want to, Call the insurance company and tell them that you don't want to be on the policy, maybe even tell them to investigate your death closely, so they will be forced to slow down money transfers if they can't cancel it.

Yes animals are the only joy in my life. Well I do want my least abusive member to get the money so she can take care of the cats. I can't even transfer the money to the cats I believe.

it seems a harsh thing to do, as suicide is hard on the ones left behind. how abusive were they? emotionally abusive or worse?

giving the cats for a loving family to adopt is a lot better, pet adoption agencies are plentiful

Yeah but it's a legal headache, I would have to go through a lawyer and everything and I am not in the financial or mental space to do so.

I would never put my cats to sleep unless they were in medical distress and I could not afford treatments. I kicked my father out the house which I am incredibly proud of. He was the most abusive and he is terrified of me now and miserable. The others are abusive on the secondary level. They love the cats but they would not take care of them as well as me obviously. They are quite dumb. Cats can live up to 20 years or more and I was willing to stay for my cats but if I can't afford it then why not ctb and let them have the insurance money.

I don't understand the odd statement of if a cat would want to CTB? I mean I do not know the emotional effects after I am gone that would inflict on my cats, since pets have been known to pass after a loved one does due to grief. pet adoption agencies and shelters are already oversaturated and I do not trust them.

I made that statement in reply to someone's unfortunate suggestion... implying that we don't know what cats are thinking and should err on the side of life (since cats generally seem content with themselves)

I did some research online and it states since pets are considered property you cannot make them beneficiaries. The best someone can do is a trust fund. Which is a whole legal process that I don't have the headache for and you need an attorney and you have to pay them.

So I did some general research and it's states most of the time there is a 2 year policy where if the insured commits suicide within 2 years of obtaining the life insurance then the death benefit will not be paid out. I have had this insurance since I was a child. So I should be ok.

But this just further proves how fucked up everything is. Murder? Ok. Accident? ok. Self Inflicting because this world is nasty and cruel? How dare you, your family gets NOTHING. I hate this place.

My parents got it for me when I was a child
