A small part of me hopes for something after death

I know it's stupid but a small part of me hopes there's something....I don't know what but a new life where I can start over and do the things I wanted. Everything I do in this life is screwed it's too late. I want a restart.
Though it's highly unlikely but I've always been into fantasy.

I do kinda feel the same. Though, I do also find peace in thinking that death is the same as before birth, aka nothing or nothing I can remember and worry about. I'd like to maybe believe in some kind of rebirth where I would've gotten to experience different things that I did in my life.

There probably is something,because even if the universe we live in is completely devoid of metaphysics,and is just product of a space dust accident,whose to say that the accident doesn't happen over and over again.

I also hope for something, but I know that if it is true void, I won't even be able to feel the disappointment.

This is interesting. I'm pretty sure there IS something after death. Like the likelihood that it's all just "nothing", idk it's just low? Like there's more "evidence" that there is something than there's evidence that there's not yk?

But what's interesting is that my belief in this (been watching so many ndes lately) I think is part reason why I couldn't "finish" it last night. Bc I was like "if I'm gonna go fly into the light now, and see God and all my loved ones etc etc — I'm way too tired for this now lol". Sounds stupid or silly but that was truly a reason.

Not, me. I get bored easy. Just give me nonexistence. Plus, i don't want to reconnect with any earthly shit heads in the afterlife unless we've totally shed our imperfect humanity.
