A few brief SN questions... :-)

1) How long should the liquid fast be for? I was going to do 4 hours.
2) How long should the food fast be for? I was going to do 12 hours
3) How do you mix the SN? I was going to put the SN in a glass and then gradually add water whilst stirring. Or should I put the water or a little water in the glass first before adding the SN? Should it be plain cold tap water?
4) Can I drink a little vodka? I figured that if I vomit I will just drink another glass of SN. Alcohol would make it easier for me to go through with it which is what I really want.
5) I'm not used to benzos and they can make me nauseous. Could I do the stat dose and the day prior take like one meto to assist with the nausea from the benzos? Ie not do the 48 hour regime but instead just take 1 meto the day before I do the stat dose and take the SN?

First 2 sound good as far as I'm aware, 3 this might be an unpopular opinion and someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I really don't think the way you stir it in or the type of water that is used is going to matter all that much overall, I'd just do whatever you felt most comfortable with. 4, again someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't drinking vodka before ingestion defeat the purpose of a liquid fast? I would also assume that it would only heighten the risk of vomiting. And it seems odd to me to worry about tiny details such as how you stir it in if you're planning on adding in a pretty big variable such as alcohol, idk. 5, I don't know the answer to this, but you know your body best and SN seems to be pretty successful even without any of those assistive drugs (thread dedicated to people that have passed by testing even a small amount), so I can't imagine a small deviation would have that much of an impact in your final goal. Suicide isn't a one size fits all.

2. again, stan's guide says that sources indicated that the ideal amount would be 8 hours, but again, it all depends on you. fasting for longer hours than 8 doesn't really have much effect anyway.
3. for me, i'd put out 50ml of room temp water—just to help it dissolve quicker—and then add the 25g of SN then mix it.

oh, my brain registered liquid fasting = fasting of liquids, hence my answer—my bad. but to clear things up, i meant to stop all fluid intake 2 hours before the deadly drink.

The benzo's you have, Clonazepam, have one of the longer half lifes for meds of that category. You'd probably get good results taking them the day prior. There's no real need to take them within the hours of CTB'ing imo. I'll be taking a few before I do, but I don't get hte nausea. You should be fine just taking it the day before, and maybe a small top up if you feel you need it late.

Hi. Thanks for everyone's responses. Yes, it is a little odd to add alcohol into the mix and yet worry so much about the other stuff but every little helps. I will be drinking the day before. That's ok right? I will try not to drink the day of and will just take benzodiazepines instead. It's all becoming very real. I am determined to go through with it. I am so scared to mess it up though. I am a 5 ft 7 average sized woman. Is 20 grams SN an ok amount or should I choose 25 grams? I will be preparing 3 glasses. Would be nice to chat to people who are also planning on trying to leave shortly.

I don't know whether to listen to music when I pass or chat to someone on here. Still can't make my mind up. Any ideas? X

I'm afraid I'm not exerienced with them enough to really know for sure, as body size and tolerance will also come into it as well.

All I can say is what my regemine will be (As someone who's 6ft6, a medium-high weight and takes a lot of drugs day to day). I plan on taking 1x2mg pill the day before CTB, another on the morning of the event and possibly one more a couple of hours before if I feel like I need it. I can take 2x2mg pills and function fairly well as it is, so have a high tolerance, and have also been taking these regularly for about a week.

This will likely work well for me, for you though I would not be able to say for sure. Hope that helps at least x

Stan's guide states 2 hour of drinking fast and 8 hours of fast and it also said the purpose is just not to have anything in stomach so you don't vomit so it says you know when you feel hungry and you can fast according because everyone's metabolism differs and if you fast for longer maybe too much acid can be a problem so they just had 8 hour for example although people have fasted for even 1 day If I remember correctly because i think I saw it on that thread of sn failed and successful attempts and about the water I think it said tap water at room temperature. The guide has all this I hope you can go through it once again before finalising anything for yourself and decide for yourself om your own.

afaik, the amount of SN depends on your weight but i suggest go big and choose 25g, if you have enough SN.

Also when I lie on the bed after drinking it where should I put the vomit bucket? Should I position it next to me on the bed or should I put it by the bed on the floor? Someone on here decided to bring a bucket to a hotel for these purposes and I decided to use the same idea. If it's on the floor though, might I fall off whilst trying to vomit in it? How are you guys handling the vomiting side of things?

More often than not, it does make people vomit. It is not a cause of failure (you can find on other threads). Your stomach will have absorbed enough to CTB. A second glass is handy if you just want to be certain.

Oooh! Drinking it at room temperature or warm instead of cold might prevent vomiting? Cold shrinks stuff & can shock the system? I like cold

I have a matress straight on the floor still in it's delivery plastic with 2 bed covers on top. I'd put the bucket on the floor. But didn't think this far.

I'm attempting very soon. A few last questions...some may be a bit dumb:

1) If I don't vomit the first glass, should I still drink the second glass?
2) Is it poor form to get under a duvet? I thought it would comfort me but will I just end up struggling with the duvet?lol
3) About the vodka. I'm going to have some prior...now I know that is poor form, but when would be the best time to have some? Would it be bad to take it about an hour before the SN? I'm not worried about it making me vomit as that often happens anyway, but does alcohol make it take longer to lose consciousness?
4? How much milk of magnesia should I take or should I not bother with an antacid? What are the pros and cons of using one?
