Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

My mom just called me a "failed existence". She said that all I do is eat, drink and lie in bed all day. She called me "lazy" and a "parasite" and told me to go join the hikis in Japan. She said that there's "no place for me here" (at home)

Parents who do this see themselves as pushing baby birds off the nest to encourage them to fly when in reality some of us just don't have the skills or even the desire to ever do so. They are pushing the baby birds to their deaths instead.

@sserafim who are the hikis?
Do you have your exit strategy planned yet or are you looking to challenge FC for thr highest number of posts by the time you're 25.
@Dr Iron Arc Nooo you changed your avatar. Now I can no longer call you a Muppet and get away with it. Huh I also thought you was British and in your 40s or 50s

I want to ctb before I reach 25 but I'm scared of failing an attempt and being left with permanent damage. In an ideal world, I would be euthanized but unfortunately euthanasia is illegal. I'm still looking into methods but I don't think I'll ever have the courage to attempt

@sserafim ah yes ok I wasn't sure if it was short for @hikikomorizombie or not. So basically you're gonna definitely live to beat FC unless you can get your hands on some SN. I'm curious how closely you look to your avatar @Otaku (very Japanese sounding name) she's on course to beat FC at her current rate. What better aspirations to have if you can't CTB in the future eh.
:/ sorry. That kinda stuff will always hurt. You know it won't get any better as long as you're there. She has no idea how to help you and is completely incapable of approaching issues in a productive way.
I'm sorry. I fear that my mum will say the same thing to me if I fail to get hired for a job (which is most likely going to happen as I don't have the abilities to get hired to begin with). I hate how we're forced to be productive. I'd rather be dead as I always craved permanent inertia. I don't want to work.. I have always wanted inertia

That's my daily life of being hated and called a parasite lol, I didn't think it was common. I totally agree with being desperate for a guaranteed method, I don't want any more brain damage than already have unless it'll kill me
Prabablly she will just keep venting an try to hit the 100000000 posts millestone here with FC. Very sad but thats the reality based on what we've been seen. Hope OP can move forward and find peace in whenever path she takes.
I'm sorry this is happening to you. I wish your family understood your limitations and that life was kinder to you. For what it's worth, I do not think you are a failure or a parasite- you are someone who should be supported by the systems in your life, and instead, they get upset at you for having things you can't do. Is there no government plan that would be willing to give you an allowance every month for your autism? It's possible to do that here but I'm not familiar with the laws where you are. There has to be some kind of aid they give to the disabled though. I wish you the best.

Ive heard that stuff all my life, even though I had a job, mother stole money, and i was doing home improvement work and all the chores. to some enough is never enough .

She lives in the US, so she could apply for SSI, i.e. disability benefits, if she meets the criteria. From what I've heard, SSI is often barely enough to survive, and there's many things that affect how much you actually get.

Yeah, I've heard horror stories about how tough it can be trying to survive off of. I worry though because her mom's been wanting to kick her out through threatening over and over again- maybe if she got on disability for a little while, she could find a living situation of some kind? I'm not sure how many relatives she has but if she really does get kicked out, maybe one could take her in and she could pay a small amount of rent (if requested) with SSI. I hope it works out somehow. It's just sad the way anyone that doesn't fit the norm gets treated in this world.

SSI is usually linked with housing assistance so it can be livable with a frugal lifestyle, but honestly for someone in their early 20s it would be hard to qualify without significant records showing a functional limitation affecting their ability to work.
You know, you may as well just turn it on her and ask her who made this "failed existence". Or maybe not, since depending on how angry you make her she might kick you out. Even being threatened to be kicked out is terrifying (and I should know). You know, it's funny because you'd think that their main concern would be you being able to fend for yourself just in case anything happens to them, but instead, most parents just don't want their adult children living with them without a job or being in education because it makes them look bad.
I don't know about sserafim, but I've been threatened to get kicked out so often now that I don't even waste more than a few seconds thinking about it.
