Walk in the park. Thought it would be but was worried about complacency after the euphoric Germany victory. However a thoroughly professional performance. Sancho was a surprise starter but Southgate yet again got it spot on. In all my years of watching England I've never known such a quality squad. Grealish Saku Foden Rashford Bellingham all on the bench. The cover we've got all over in all positions is outstanding. Bring on Denmark.

oh wow I was way off the mark with my prediction with england and ukraine. expected a win from england but not a stomp like that.

hopefully denmark will offer more competition. They've stomped two teams so far and that's without eriksen.

I think england will win still but not a stomp like with ukraine. don't know what happened there. if for some reason it comes to pens i have more faith in the english team with them than the danish.

can't wait for italy vs spain more though. as mad as i am about italy knocking my Belgium out i can't deny watching them play is exciting so long as they leave the acting to hollywood.

I am not a England fan. But I do support underdogs. It might surprise you to hear that Italy, Spain and even Denmark won the Cup already.

Denmark having won the euro cup is the only country that surprised me. England won a world cup though. world cup>euro cup.

England don't seem like the underdog in this tournament. That would be Spain.

When Denmark won the Euros in 1992 they failed to qualify for the main tournament. It was only after Yugoslavia civil war started and they had too withdrawal at the last minute. The Danish players were all on the beach on holiday and quickly had too get ready for the tournament. It was different back then as only 8 teams were in the finals. Two groups of four and top 2 in each group went straight into semi finals. Was brilliant they won it though. Always remember Schmeichel in goal and John Jensens superb strike. England messed up again in group stage. Drew first 2 games and went 1 0 up against hosts Sweden before Thomas Brolin scored twice. Gary Lineker got substituted and never played for England again. France were in our group and got knocked out too with Eric Cantona in their squad. Was great the Danes won it though with zero preparation time. Again on paper were far superior than Denmark, but footballs played on grass. Gonna be nerve wracking and exciting.
