Defence rock solid. 4 clean sheets.
Wing backs outstanding especially Shaw.
Rice and Phillips solid.
Sterling brilliant except his pass to Muller.
Kane scores. Massive weight of his shoulders.
Saku glimpses of his pace done well.
Grealish what an impact. Passed to Shaw for Sterling's goal and set up Kanes.
Southgate got tactics spot on. Why waste energy in group games when the knock outs are the business end of tournament. Holland France and Sweden won there groups and put a lot of energy into group stages and are all out.
Got to say I can't see us not getting to the final with our starting 11 and the subs so strong. Never have or will get a better chance.

Interesting to see how many ppl think italy will win. Wonder if these users are either italian or just new admirers of the team. Honestly think its either italy or belgium's game so tmr will be the final for me. England and possibly spain (if they don't bottle) are the dark horses of the tournament.

Swiss beating france was amazing no doubt but spain for me have been more consistent despite looking shaky at times. They either tie or stomp in games.

I don't believe this shit. And the worst thing is I can't say Belgium lost because of bad luck. Italy were really the better team. I can't believe how scary they are attacking. I now have no horse in the race. It'd be cute if denmark won though but that is very unlikely. I was so confident that a team I liked would win and this is what happens.

Italy look awesome. Spain look average. The semi final is all down on the day though. Italy look better than Spain but will miss Spinnazola. He looked their best player in the tournament so far. Feel sorry for switzerland. The pressure of reaching their first ever semi final in a major tournament led too 3 weak penalties. Belgium I think are overrated. No way are they no 1 team in the world. Defence too old and heavily rely on de bryne and Eden hazard. That Daku looks class though. Enjoyable games again today.
Also did anyone see immobile was well rather immobile. Till his team mate scored then lept up and ran. Should have got a yellow for cheating. Here's a 30 second video.

Italy will no doubt eat spain alive. Maybe its best swiss went out now instead of getting curb stomped by the italians with how many key players they'd have out because of injuries and yellow/red card.

Hey don't be talking shit about my Belgiums. I don't think they deserve to be number 1 but they deserve to be up there with how many few teams that can beat them. If italy win the euro cup then that means they only lost to the champions like how it was in the world cup. I'm so sad for this belgium team. The golden generation will be no more in a year or two.

I'll still root for them in the world cup though.

They couldn't even really depend hazard this tournament since the hazard now is a far cry from what he was at the 2018 world cup. damn it, real madrid destroy yet another promising player's career.
