Your thoughts on DBS?

Just read this article. I had already heard about it but couldn't remember the name. (DBS = Deep Brain Stimulation)
Would you undergo such a surgery if you could? For my part, I would of course, because in the end I want to live, I'm just hindered by depression. If my symptoms could get better, I would not want to CTB at all.

I would not try DBS before TMS and ECT, of course. I don't think I would be allowed to access DBS before anyway.
Never heard of TDCS before though. Thanks!
