Method Your preferred methods and why?

What are your preferred methods and why?

I'll start:

1. Voluntary Assisted Death - Controlled environment, peaceful and guaranteed death
2. DDMA - Regarded as peaceful and effective as Nembutal (Difficult to source the required Morphine though)
3. SN - Seems very reliable but peacefulness questionable (quite easy to obtain)
4. Hanging - Very accessible and possibly not too horrendous if you manage to lose consciousness quickly

These are my only methods I would consider, other methods scare the crap out of me (jumping, drowning, shooting yourself cannot get a gun in my country)

Probably going to use inert gas but if SI takes over, I will begin applying for a hunting license which allows me to purchase a firearm.

Gunshot, cause it's fast.

Assisted death might be better, but I kind of think I wanna be alone, as long as it's fast. Dunno why. Hanging is my favorite method that I can actually afford.

1) VAD but not possible in my country and I wouldnt get accepted in another country, too young and no physical health problems that would deem me suitable.

2) SN dont have currently as I'm too worried about getting a welfare check. But doesnt really leave a gruesome looking corpse unlikely hanging which I have considered but I think it's horrible for whoever finds me.

If I ever end up using either one of these, it will depend on how much I'd care for it to seem impulsive because that's the major difference I guess. Technically SN method shouldn't be used without fasting beforehand and given the impulse to ctb usually lasts up to a couple of hours, it might not be enough. So I guess we'll see:)

Of course in a perfect world i'd choose assisted death.

Hanging (full, not partial). Seems pretty surefire as long as your rope, knot, and anchor point are solid and you have the appropriate privacy. Unconscious in seconds if done right. It's my chosen method at some point. That's just my opinion though.

Nembutal because of the peacefulness. Now I have to rely on half body suspension which sucks. I had SN but didn't have the nerve to take it. I guess it is what it is...... Looking into gases at the moment also.

SN very lethal if you follow Stan's Guide and might you fail the damage to your body is minimal compared to other methods.

Just something peaceful and guaranteed, I want a death which is like falling into an dreamless, eternal sleep, I wish I had access to methods like Nembutal, it's hellish how humans are denied the option to die in such a peaceful way, to be able to access a death like that would be such a relief.

Nah I couldn't do a slow method personally. Nembutal would be absolute emotional torture. I'd probably call an ambulance waiting 15 mins for it to take effect.

Wouldn't the same apply to a Morphine overdose too? That would also take several minutes to take effect and put you to sleep.

No, fentanyl and morphine would be IV. Only nation states can get IV pentobarbital. Rest have to drink it and that's too slow and risky for me personally.

Realistically for me full hanging is my option, from a metal exercise frame in my room.

I'd rather not have to endure it but I don't see any viable alternatives, I just hope I lose consciousness quickly.

My preferred method would be VAD. I know when being put under for surgery it feels so peaceful, Id love that without ever waking up.
Being thats not an option, my next is SN. I know many say it's easy to source, I'm finding that tricky as I'm Canada. Ever since the KL situation, it's next to impossible here now.

No hanging or anything for potential gruesome pain like that. Easy peasy in my own bed if ever comes to that. Nembutal would be ideal but is 1000% impossible to find. Been there done that. They are ALL scams. SN possibly but first a shot or 3 of borboun plus say double my normal amount of sleeping pills. Then slip to the other side gently and peacefully like slipping into a beautiful dream. That is if it ever comes down to that. Anyone who says they wouldn't consider it hasn't experienced true pain.

i think my no.1 would probably be jumping these days. i think it's the most romanticised version of suicide. you think of models that ended up jumping (or 'getting pushed') or evelyn mchale ('the most beautiful suicide'). add that with a high fatality rate so long as you go high enough and a relatively quick death &... i guess that's my favorite, if you can call it that

only problem is i can't figure out where the fuck i'd go. nowhere i regularly visit is tall enough, and central/greater london most likely has shit in place everywhere to prevent jumpers. i guess i'm alive until i finally scope somewhere

Exit Bag. Quick, painless suffocation. The helium is a noble gas and tricks your body into thinking you're breathing and won't fight back. No mess for your family or extra work for the mortician. This is absolutely by far the most reliable, painless, easy way to go IMO. Few deep breaths and you go to sleep and never wake up.

Worst way - hanging. This was extremely difficult. With hanging you not only have an incredible amount of time to save yourself, but you're in immense pain and discomfort for a long period of time and it's more of a battle against yourself. Every if you're successful like I was, your body can thrash around and break whatever you're hanging from and if you fail you could end up brain damaged or unable to reattempt and be trapped in an even worse situation than you started.

I've tried a few different methods and they both failed due to operator error but I can tell you exit bag is the way to go. I'm alive right now because the helium I used was cut and contained too much oxygen but I'm 100% certain that exit bag is it. It's a few deep breaths instead of a battle.
