• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm not a mental health professional, but I'll try to answer your question about treatment-resistant depression.

If something is resistant to something else, it doesn't mean that it's impenetrable. You might still get wet if wearing water-resistant clothes, for example.

While there remains a possibility of improvement, I think new treatments should continue to be sought out and tried.
Sometimes people miraculously recover from all sorts of things causing them distress (medical or otherwise). So there's always a chance!!! No suicide for anyone ever. Case closed.

Depression can be overcome. It requires time, effort, persistence and help. But, it can be done, I promise.
(I know he's gone but I'm replying anyway because I want to air my thoughts).

You aren't omniscient, so cut the dishonesty. And yes, you would need to be omniscient to make a claim like that, justifiably. It's unfair to make such ridiculous assurances otherwise. You aren't qualified, because you aren't an oracle who can look into the future. For the same reason, you will never catch me saying "it never gets better" or any negative guarantees to that effect.
