so tired of hearing this. yeah it's not healthy to rely on others to motivate yourself but i don't care. so tired of the bs that is known as life. i feel so guilty for even wanting to die all the time because yeah i do know some people would be very upset. so then i get angry at them. vicious cycle.

Honestly I don't understand this phrase either. I don't see what's the point in living for myself cus I would never want to go through this shit just for myself. I feel like the only reason to continue life is to please others and hope they find value in you. If I didn't have my best friend then my desire to die would increase tenfold. For me to want to live I need to be able rely and be able to give some sort of thing to other people to make me want to go through this torture.

That phrase is so annoying because I don't have this type of ego of "I'm worth it" that the pro lifers have. If my existence causes suffering (which it does since everybody's existence has a cost to it), why should I be okay with that if I'm the one who is being happy from all of the animals getting killed and people being exploited? In a lot of cases, being happy causes another sentient being to experience the negative instead due to the nature of this world.
Also, this whole phrase of "live for yourself" is just bullshit pro lifer tripe as it assumes that life by default is good and anybody who wants an earlier death are irrational for doing so. Fuck that, I don't hate myself. I want an earlier death because I love myself as I don't want to suffer in this hellish existence. For as long as I'm alive, I will have to suffer. If I'm dead, I will no longer suffer because there is no me. If I truly hated myself, I would force myself to live in this existence for as long as possible but I deserve grace, not pain
