This is how old school I am: Super Mario. I end up with a permanent headache from banging my head to get rewards, wander through worlds of bullshit and insanity, am surrounded by really irritating fake-happy music, and struggle to rescue someone who needs to get off her ass and do some of that work herself. I mean, the dragon has already proven how stupid he is, and if she's that helpless, I'm just going to spend my life rescuing her once I get her out of there. She'll end up cheating on me because I'm a plumber and sometimes don't smell so good. The first kid who doesn't come out with a moustache, I'll file for divorce and head to the pub, where the dragon will be hanging out after his stint in prison and we'll end up being drinking buddies and he'll say, "I could have - hic! - I could have - hic! - I could have told you that!" And when he laughs, he gets nauseated, belches fire, the pub gets burned down with us in it, and I die a painful death anyway, followed by a stupid Mario Brothers death song, and start at level one again. Then I'll become an activist for pulling the plug so it all can finally end.
