• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I would still be depressed but not to the point of considering ctb.
Money would definitely help get rid of most of my problems.
I know this question has been asked before and looking at the answers made me think if my decision to ctb is too impulsive? since most people in that thread stated that they'd still consider ctb. I'm aware that money doesn't make suicidal ideation go away and everyone navigates differently through situations like these. I'm still curious to know about what you guys think

How did you attempt?
Hanging. I accidentally sent out my suicide note too early though. It was a dumb miscalculation (due to time differences) on my part.

How rich are we talking?

If i never had to work again i'd probably postpone it for a good while. I wouldn't be happy still, but i guess i could just live my life as a hermit enjoying simple things in life, food, computer games, films to take my mind off of other problems.

Yes. People who have money and fame are not walking around in a state of perpetual ecstasy.

I'm not rich, but I do pretty well and doubled my salary earlier this year. It certainly alleviated some material anxiety, providing a short-lived joy.

Many of the avenues to despair are born internally.

Yes I would still ctb but maybe not as urgent. Money can't buy my regrets. Money can't change the fact that I'm living a life under expectations.
