I dont want to be reborn, at any time.
I understood how this world works, I had enough thanks.

I like your response because I agree that for reincarnation to not be a thing there would have to exist some sort of essence with unique ID that's being erased upon death.No. Rebirth is just a myth. Every human that is born is exclusively unique with its own essence. That essence isnt shared or transported further because there is no need for recycling in the birthing cycle
Hey, I said I'd go for it if I actually could ensure utopian rebirth.I can't help feeling that most people who answer "no" don't realize what being reborn implies. You probably imagine being reincarnated on Earth, in a time similar to ours, as a human and having experience similar to this one but that's a very narrow view. You could easily be reborn in a society so utopian that for all intents and purposes it would be like heaven from our point of view. To assert that you know enough about the world to know for sure there is no state of existence that could feel good, is rather unreasonable and quite presumptuous. If you believe in as much as the possibility that some people are actually happy, not anxious and depressed and it's not just because they're stupid and or delusional about the nature of life, then answering with resounding "no" seems strange to me.
The mind can make a hell of heaven and vice versa. You could easily be reborn in a society so utopian that for all intents and purposes it would be like heaven from our point of view.
because you got most of your needs and wants out of lifebut I'll never have it better than I did in this life
That's a laugh. I pissed it down the drainbecause you got most of your needs and wants out of life
My thoughts exactly, @demuic .Definitely not into this world. Never again. If there was another world without pain and suffering and I could get anything I want, and things were exactly the way I wanted, that would be the only scenario I would be okay with.
Without accounting for the costs of living those statistics are fairly meaningless. Especially since happiness is not linearly proportional to the amount of money you have.Over 1.9 billion people, or 26.2 percent of the world's population, were living on less than $3.20 per day in 2015
Close to 46 percent of the world's population was living on less than $5.50 a day, As of January 2021 there were 4.66 billion active internet users worldwide - 59.5 percent of the global population,
Well, most people don't suffer enough to be suicidal. If you ever attempted you're probably within the top 1 or 2% of most unhappy people on the planet. So even limiting the choice to just Earth and current time the chances are very much in your favour.earths still mostly a shithole and always will be there just aren't enough resources on the planet for everyone to live a 1960 america lifestyle, i wouldn't take the chance of having another terrible horrible life here on earth life is just good to so few of us here.
i disagreeWell, most people don't suffer enough to be suicidal
I don't know about most other people here, but if I had to be reincarnated into this world, I'd probably not want to be reincarnated as a human.if reincarnation happens we may as well be reincarnated as literally any conscious creature
That sounds like a gross underestimation. Do you trust that?Globally, it is estimated that 5.0% of adults suffer from depression
