Suicidal people may yearn for death, but how would you feel if someone killed you?
Personally, compared to continuing to live, I would prefer being shot in the head, pushed off a cliff, hanged, or strangled, but I wouldn't want to be stabbed.

honestly i think that it would be scary at first but once i accept it it will be fine. i wish my death would be quick and painless but since its someone else doing me a favour they probably wouldnt care much about my comfort lol. Being shot would be my go to. Strangulation sounds scary and hanging sounds stressful. Honestly i dont mind stabbing as long as someone slits my throat while i sleep so i dont have time to react to it

By stabbing, I mean someone repeatedly stabbing your stomach, back, arms, and legs dozens of times. Can you even imagine that? It's not exactly pleasant.

ohhhh im sorry this definitely sounds a LOT less pleasant. i thought that you meant someone attacking me with a knife in general. Also being pushed off a cliff doesnt sound too bad (i think it woukd be way better if it was a surprise attack)

I think it'd certainly be easier on others to accept that you were killed rather than you killed yourself, even if it would still hurt. But I wouldn't have to make the decision in that case. Considering I've always had passive suicidal ideation where I'd be fine if something outside of my control killed me, I believe I'd be fine with someone killing me, even if it does take away some self-agency.

thats the goal every time i walk alone in dangerous areas at night with my overhead headphones on. or maybe at least something bad enough to happen to me that would allow me to have a break from my life or maybe even give me the courage to just get the job done myself

i think about this all the time. i believe i'm too scared to push through with CTB myself. i'd probably thank the person if they offed me instantly
