Wouldn't mind going with someone who cared and was of like mind, but not a fake friend like a cult would provide...

I don't even give a shit about meeting up with people who care about me. It would already be awesome to meet up with people who can see the truth about life.

Ok, now that I'm done giggling... Yeah, I gladly would. A bus is a bus no matter the driver. Heck, they might drive me instead - sacrifice and all that jazz!

We need a real-life suicide club.

Possibly. In practice, most cults are really fascist. I don't think I could die in that name. And I wouldn't feel okay participating in a cult because of what they do to others. I've thought about this before and it hasn't seemed so bad, but then I remember they prey on the vulnerable and brainwash them. Suicides in the context of a cult are not an informed choice; they're the result of brainwashing, coercion, manipulation, and various other forms of exploitation (including economic).

It would just be too wrong for me. I don't believe in an afterlife, but I do believe that what you do in this life matters. One of the things that put me in despair and alienated me so severely is human exploitation in the first place.

But imagine a cult, that is simply 100% a death cult. That sounds nice. And the leader doesn't care about power or any of that shit. And if the leader is a failure, he or she can be removed.

Yeah I wouldn't be hung up on the details as long as they weren't too fascist. Just cookin' lentils for the commune til D-day when they pass put the chemicals.

Well, yeah. I'm just saying cults generally aren't like that. I was expressing that the means and interpretation of my death matter to me a lot, I suppose. If it didn't do any cultish things like recruiting among vulnerable strangers, and was just an existentialist death cult, I would join obviously. But at that point it is barely even a cult except by social designation.

True, it would just basically be a movement of philosophers.

It just occurred to me that I might. Like if I knew they had procured the preferred supplies I might be like "eh, why not?"

This cult is called EUTANASIA.
It is not legal everywhere, for now it is an elite club.

Poetic. I like it.

I'd join a cult depending on what it was about. I like the new-age feel-good "the universe is our god and we must become one with it again," so if somebody wanted to start a Cosmic Reintegration death cult I'd be in.

It's not like that. From my knowledge, I conclude that none
man has no second chance at life.
Death is the end of everything for man.
Each civilization had an impact on the living in
people, shaping view of "life" after
death. In translations of Egyptian papyri
and ostrakona few thousand years ago dated:
"from the afterlife no one has returned and told yet
how is there"

Tough one, my need to be off and my loathing of cults clashing. Nah, I'll just do it myself and cross my fingers. Fuck cults.

That's a nice way of thinking about it. I think otherwise, who knows what's going to happen after. Nothing? Something? We don't know with 100% certainty, for dead men tell no tales.

Depends on what they'd try to make me do first. I wouldn't care much about anything happening to me, but I wouldn't want to hurt other people.

I would as long as they weren't into any weird stuff, and the ctb was guaranteed to be peaceful.
