it seems to be way easier to get potassium nitrite and it has the same effect as SN. i have heard that the taste is way worse though, does anyone know if that'd true? and you have to use a higher dose too. anyone consider PN now that SN is so much harder to acquire?

I'm pretty sure KN tastes quite similar to SN, though of course I can't say for certain. KN is super easy to get hold of compared to SN right now.
I don't believe you need to take a higher dose the more I've looked into it. I thought that at first, but after reading this study, I think the dosage would be roughly the same as SN. For those under 99kg/220lb, it's 25g; over 100kg/220lb, it's 30-35g. The preparation, storage, and everything else are the same as SN!

I've ordered some and might use it as my main method, even though I have SN. If it can help others, I'd be happy to donate myself lol.

The only research I have found for potentially needing a higher dose is in this book which says:

Which in dumb people terms means SN is 67% nitrite by weight and KN is 54% nitrite by weight so:

25 mg SN × 0.67 = 16.75 mg nitrite

KN dose × 0.54 = 16.75 mg

So if the normal SN dose is 25 mg then to get an equivalent dose in KN, you'd need 31mg.

and thank you so so much for all this! this is actually really affirming cause i'm running into a lot of roadblocks with acquiring SN so i think i'll definitely order some KN now that i'm more assured of its effectiveness

So the main reason why people don't overkill the dose with SN (or KN) is because larger doses greatly increase the chance of vomiting, which can ruin the method entirely. Nitrites are strong gastric irritants. The stomach lining gets inflamed, and this triggers immediate vomiting before enough can be absorbed. Doses above a certain threshold don't work better, they just become more dangerous in the wrong ways. Very large doses can lead to delayed/reduced absorption too which just means a slower, more distressing death.

Lol, why? PN seems more logical as an abbreviation in English - Potassium Nitrite. KN looks like NaN which is neither a correct chemical formula of the compound nor an abbreviation formed in a sensible way.

My weight is 50kg then how much should I swallow to die with 99% certainity

You can use KNO3 in amount 5gm/kg and I know it'll be too much to eat so just dissolve it in 500ml of water (it's very water soluble) along with it have some lemon juice and some good amount of salt . Kinda tasty way to die but believe me KNO3 is too easy to get and also lethal. Although by doing the above steps you'd die in probably 4 hours . But before that you'll be unconscious.....and you'll vomit alot ......a Lil bit painful but along with Sleeping pills you're good to go
