Would this quench the SI?

I'm thinking of downing a bottle of wine + a tab of benzos before either jumping off a building or with a noose around my neck for full hanging.

Is that going to stop the SI? There's no way it wouldn't, right? I get a feeling of confusion and sleepiness when I only take 1mg. I would probably be knocked out cold with alcohol and a full tab benzos on top of that.

once you're incapacitated enough i'd think that it'd def prevent u from feeling the fear. i was thinking of taking a bunch of OTC sleeping pills & just sitting on the ledge backwards, so when i pass out i'll just slump over it & splat.

Sounds like a plan. I would go for jumping as well, but as far as I know there aren't any spots available where I am at (besides large buildings in cities). There is a bridge named the death bridge where people usually jump off, but it has a river below it so I would have to hope I land on rocks or something solid.

kinda same :/ i settled for an 11 story parking garage, 10 stories is the minimum requirement for a 98% fatality rate. & yeah, jumping into water is def not something i'd wanna do either.

also i really wouldn't recommend getting off ur face & trying to hang yourself. it's 1 of the methods that requires such a specific process to go right, u need to be coherent & clear minded. otherwise u might just end up injuring/disabling yourself.

I would do it beforehand. I already know the knots for ligature and the slipknot. When I would have the noose in place I would down the bottle and the tab then when starting to feel the effects just kick the bucket and go for it.

It should be painless 5-10 seconds lights out. 90kg will be pressing on carotid arteries.

Good luck with your SI, I have found it to be a powerful thing that I personally haven't been able to overcome. There is no advice to be given as it's your own battle to fight. I'm sorry you are suffering and wish for you to find peace on your journey.

Have you tried benzos + alcohol yourself?
