Worried about my mom

I know that i will be found by my mom coming hone from work and i worry that, as she recently turned 60 and has a stressful job, that finding me hanged would give her a heart attack…

How do you deal with these kinds of thoughts and worries?

It's very conflicting. I'm the same. My mum is in poor health, but she's the only person that's stuck by me throughout my life and I don't think I could do this to her. I don't live with my mum, but she has a spare key to my place. It's putting me off doing anything, for sure.

You don't want to be found too early and saved though. This seems risky.

Agree with @NeverEndingPain you do not want to risk surviving with brain damage. All I can think of is leaving a note on the door or something to reduce some of the shock. I'm genuinely sorry that I don't have a better answer.

How much time do you have between CTB and her getting home? You could always consider scheduled calls or emails to alter authorities to intervene. Just want to make sure that you have an adequate window to prevent being saved into more suffering.

This is the hardest thing to face my friend. In the same boat as you. I am going to a State Park to CTB so family doesn't have to find me. Sorry you are suffering.

I don't agree cause they might get there before he's dead and then your a vegetable for life and have no option to ctb

That sounds like a difficult situation to be in, and it must be hard to deal with but I agree that those who wish to ctb should make sure that they have enough time alone so they don't end up having their attempt interrupted. Failing the hanging method sounds so horrifying and is what scares me.

But for me personally, whatever would happen after I have left this world could never be any of my concern, as I simply wouldn't be there at that point to witness it. The dead are incapable of caring about anything. After all, everyone has to die somewhere, someday, it's our inevitable fate as humans, and the fact that other people get upset by finding someone who has ctb is really the fault of the society for denying people the option of going to an euthanasia clinic, as if that was the case then others would know in advance and would have the time to come to terms with the persons decision to be free from this world.
