pro lifers, not just abortion, but generally pro lifers are people, who do not believe in suicide in any shape or form,
pro lifers who spout life is perfect and amazing, refusing to see both sides of the world, yet we have to see theirs
Pro lifers, people who think life is and should be worth living regardless of what you have been through, or are going through
Pro lifers who believe places like this forum should not exist, and would if they had their way have it taken down

Dont worry about laughing i think a bit of humour on these threads is quite therapeutic.

I've been trying to get help for 11 years.
ELEVEN YEARS.
But if I told them I am going to kill myself they'd put me in their 136 suite to "help me". Then I'd be left wandering around aimlessly on a ward with no support regime anyway.
It's all about keeping you alive, not sorting out any issues or barriers to happiness.

I'm assuming that by "all these comments" you also meant my comment because I brought up abortion. I mentioned it because in both cases there is a concern about whether or not the subject is alive (the preference for life) but there is no concern about the subject's quality of life.

It's a well known fact that suicides take place on 10th September and so it is a smart move to name the day "suicide prevention day".
People do not suffer with emotional issues on other days throughout the year which is why mental health services are so rubbish; why build an expensive service that's just not needed on more than one day during the year?
It's ok though, because the virtue signalers won't have anything to say on the issue after the next hour is done with (it's 23:00 here).

I wanna give my two cents about it.
I think (as a normal person and not some psycho girl) that preventing suicide is important, for those who arent really mentally ill and just go through a tough moment in their lives. The ones that have it all, future holds so much for this people,and their crisis is tenporal. But for those who are seriously mentally or physically ill, have lost it all and dont have the kind of support they need be it emotional support or the lack of success with any treatment, this is not an important day. All the contrary, they're encouraging other people to think they have all control over our lives and know whats best for us without even knowing our problem. I think to us its just another day where we can be happy for those who can still be saved, of course, if they want. But I just the world was a bit more supporting of the fact we can take our own life whenever we want or need or when the problem is way more serious than just your anothet mundane crisis. I would like to turn to all these people here who think they still want to save their lives or know things can get better or they have any kind of support they can rely on. If you still have the most little will to survive, dont hesitate. Try therapy and have your hope held high. Who knows. Explore your ways. Maybe, if you'd like to, life wont be as bad as it seems anymore.

Agreed. Everyone I know posts so much bs like that, but try to talk to them about your mental health and they'll be halfway down the block before you've even managed to finish your sentence. People don't truly care, they just pretend to to make themselves look good.
