• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Anyone else just walk past a window on a high floor of a building and feel an overwhelming urge to leap from it? I work on the ninth floor and every so often it just pops into my head. I have to stop myself from standing up and marching over there.

Yes. It's my second choice after hanging

I have a place I can get on the roof and look over the edge. 15 stories

When I go up I wonder if I will be taking the quick way down.

Yes, anywhere high I always have an urge to jump.

It's not a suicidal urge in itself, it's like I'm drawn to the edge.

The term for that impulse is the Call of the Void and is, apparently, common and probably often bewildering.
