Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Does anyone else experience overwhelming waves of loneliness throughout the day?

I feel very disconnected from reality every single day. I have friends and family members that surround my life, but it's as if I'm looking at them and the world through a glass screen. Everyone goes about their day while I stand frozen in place and stare.

It feels like the world has forgotten about my existence. Like a childhood friend who forgot to save me a seat on the school bus so I just stare for a bit, but I'm not allowed to linger because the bus will be moving soon. I'm forced to go with the flow or drown in the currents of this cruel and unrelenting world.

I have had similar feelings. This sounds like at least some depersonalization/derealization (DPDR) is occurring. I've experienced it chronically for 12 years. How long have you felt this way?

I would say these feelings have been especially strong in the past 4 months.

Yep. Hits home. Sometimes I look at people, but I perceive them as cardboard cutouts. They feel more like decorations or something. And everything they say is none but NPC dialogues from Oblivion.

upd: Turned on "Harvest Dawn" while my colleagues were talking. Yep. Suits perfectly.

at least you're not actually alone.

but i can relate to the feeling. it's hard to process the people around me as real, or that i'm even really there. it does feel like just watching it all happen. that's just simple derealization or depersonalization tho tbh.

I can relate to you so much, sometimes I wonder if im even human. There's a barrier between me and everyone else, even though I have lots of friends.

Yeah pretty much what I feel all the time. I've pretended to put on different personalities around friends to see if things can be different, such as being loud, funny, provocative, or quiet. Still nothing changes. All that same old profound loneliness and unreal.

The loneliest I've felt was not within the confines of my own solitude but rather a crowd of a hundred strong cheering, laughing and embracing. But I don't quite care that I'm not a part of it all I don't have much of an interest in being so. I feel more like an observer curiously studying people,a gust of wind with a pair of eyes
