no i didn't throw up at all. that sucks if it's not SN. maybe it's just lying abt the purity? cuz idk i have some symptoms of SN poisoning, so maybe it's much lower concentration than it says? whatever, ill just take more to be on the safe side
If you survive permanently you could test it. Probably easiest way is the blood test, just bleed a bit into a small glass, put some SN in and see if the blood changes color. That means the hemoglobin (the chemical that makes your blood red and carries oxygen) is being turned into methemoglobin, which is blue. That's also why your nails are blue iirc.
just now i was going to test it but when i bled my blood was weirdly sort of brown so i couldn't really see it change color when i put the SN in
The strange color could be from poisoning with SN or whatever else is in the powder you have if it's not SN. You should be able to see it react pretty much instantly iirc, maybe you can try again while looking at it under light?

it could be that contact with oxygen degraded it to nitrate or something and so it's lower purity now. i think in any case if youre unsure if it's going to be enough then you can just take more. i hope the best for u <3

It may not be SN at all. I'd move on to plan B, or call emergency services. Or try to sleep it off.
Yeah i noticed this too in the last couple of months. Many people began ingesting sodium nitrate or one of those curing salts with 6% of SN in them. I wonder if they ever bothered to read what was written on their packages.
That is usually not pure SN it's a mix of table salt and SN = curing salt and high purity probably refers to food grade not >95% SN

sodium nitrite at 99% bro idunno whta i di d wrong. its been open for while and poepple have used it before may be rhat is the problem. if idont die from this am i fucked like will i be disabled or some shit
If it has been open for a while, then a large portion of it got converted into sodium nitrate, and your SN became useless. The best thing that you can do right now is call the emergency services. Chances of you getting disabled are slim, but I wouldn't risk it. Call them now.
considering how long it's been since ingestion you'll probably be fine. if you dont want to die then call emergency services if you start feeling drowsy, but otherwise you're probably in the clear. sodium nitrite in contact with air turns to sodium nitrate. it's a very slow process though, so it's not like what you have is totally inert, it's just no longer 99% purity, which is why you're still here.
See this was my experience and makes me question whether what i had was as good quality SN as it needed to be, i took it weeks back and, although was definitely fully poisoned (cyanosis, senses going, weakness) did not pass out even after 3 hours before i got to the hospital and got the antidote! I swallowed a huge chunk of it too
You were right as annoyed as i was when i was being told i wasnt "following the protocol" but the real reason i didnt and other people dont i feel is SI and anxiety. CTB in this way needs to be done without too much thinking in order to get past SI so even if you do manage to get past it its still hard to think properly, you would think your brain has been soaked in molasses with how slow you get.
I get what you're saying. When I have attempted, I basically planned to do it impulsively…. So whenever that came so I wouldn't have to deal with SI. so I'd do my planning ahead of time so I could read my own personal protocol.
