I believe the police would confiscate the note and treat it as evidence upon knowledge of such a note. Then the coroner would determine the cause of death to be suicide. Sadly, unless you have a backup copy, it is believed that the police would take it and keep it as evidence of CTB. As for whether they read and relate to it, I don't know.
