Life was a mistake

OF COURSE they will find out. How could that possibly be kept from your community? The fact that you have to ask that shows you're not thinking straight. At least wait until you've left school, got a job you don't mind, moved away from family, tried to find some meaning to your life independently. School and family can cloud your judgement badly. Get away from your previous existence, all the things that have given you your current perspective of life, and try to create a new life, a new perspective, and see how you feel about everything then. CTB whilst still essentially a child is way too premature. You haven't exhausted all possibilities yet.
All of that is easier said than done. It costs money, requires skillsets that people contemplating suicide at a "young" age may or may not have, the ability to be self sufficient and independent, have any goals or desires or the ability to carry them out. It's someone's personal choice whether they want to "exhaust all possibilities" or not. It is easy to look at someone's post and act like someone's problems are simple and they need only do x, y, z, to easily solve them when you aren't in their shoes.

I'm not anti-life, I'm anti-chronic pain taking away my ability to have a life; before this pain came along I loved life and was very ambitious, despite crippling social anxiety and an utter hatred of full-time conventional work, I found it mentally and physically exhausting, especially the social part, but I found a work-around that suited me - he said 'life is exhausting and soon ill have to look for a job and stuff' - these are problems that have potential solutions - at least try to solve them - at 19 you haven't tried shit
Good for you if you found something that worked for you. Not everyone will or even wants to embark on that journey in the first place. There is no age limit on suffering and life only adds more and more potentials problems as hardships as you get older.

Fair Enough. I was more responding to 'pro-life lol' up there - not everyone on here is anti-life or thinks that life is pointless - some of us loved life before things turned to shit, and are DEVASTATED that it's come to this, precisely because we miss all the things we loved about life.

If I granted you 3 wishes so you could change anything, is there anything you would change that would make you want to stick around for longer?

I did not say I think his problems are simple or easily solved, and everything is 'easier said than done', that's a silly saying. I believe that recovering from suicidality and going on to enjoy your life, if possible, would be a better outcome than killing yourself. And at 19, there is still a chance that could happen if you seek out the right guidance.

Problems in my family, fix my loneliness because i never have some1 to meet up with, and last one to fix all my health problems like tourettes and bpd.

But surely, in order to, for example, read about a 12 year old who killed themselves and feel it's an utterly appalling tragedy and a waste of a life, you must have some opinion of when a suicide should have been prevented, because it wasn't the only option, even though it felt that way to the 12 year old.

I am an American teacher, so my experience may not be yours, but in our school, grief counselors come to the school to console students and staff. Staff are notified of a student's death and if it is a suicide, we are told that it is. Counselors are available throughout the school to help staff and students process what happened regardless if it is a suicide or not.

I understand, those are very complicated problems. Family problems are often unfixable. Forming genuine friendships that feel comfortable seems to be harder to achieve the older we get. I have 1 friend who I met at 13. Tourettes and BPD sounds like a shit-ton to have to deal with. I can imagine why that would make life exhausting.

Just ignore the anti choice people, it is your life and your decision and you have the right to exit at a time of your own choosing. It is up to you and nobody else has any say in it. I'm sorry for all the suffering that has brought you to this point. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

If for example the person left a letter wishing that their situation remains private, will the school respect the person's wishes?

That would be up to the parents. The reason we know the details of students' deaths is because the parents share it with us. We never tell students how a student passes, but they figure it out on their own.

I attempted at college and was taken directly to hospital - never saw the campus again. When I contacted acquaintances a year later and asked what they thought, they said I had just disappeared and no one knew what happened. But could be because I failed.
