Why can't you respect me? Oh I know why, I can't respect myself and who can respect someone who doesn't respect themselves. You know my love for you will make me brush off the things that hurt me most time after time until I just break one day. Does that break down ever change anything? Maybe for a bit but it is back to the same old thing.
You can do so much to show you love me but once you disrespect me in an area that I want respect in (It is bare minimum) I feel completely unloved and like you just view me as someone you can hurt with no remorse because at the end of the day things are fine because I love you too much and don't respect myself.
This relationship has me feeling pathetic a lot.
