why tf do the authorities/people get involved in welfare checks? (a rant)

it's just a very annoying thing in my opinion when it comes to things like ordering SN. Like, what business or assumptions do the authorities have to be in people's business? isn't there like a ton of crime or other things people need to be worried about? what if i am just picking up a hobby? is this just a "tick the box just in case" kind of visit so they can feel like their hands are clean incase someone does ctb? it's not like they care.

I also have a problem with people trying to step in, especially random strangers. The amount of videos I see on IG of "you matter, here's my personal story" ok well good for you for using someone's death for clout. And like friends and family, it's not that you care about ME and MY FEELINGS, ya'll just give a fuck about how YOU'RE going to feel and your assumptions of what I'm "potentially" missing out on. I've been feeling this way for the better part of my whole life (so like 30 years). "permanent solution to a temporary problem" fuck offffff

The thing I find interesting is that after 13+ years of education, most of us in the West have not been given a single lesson on how to USE the law to our advantage. Imagine an aggressive campaign launched by hundreds or thousands of people in retaliation against the police that have used the contrived language of mental health to upend our natural or God given right to Liberty. We're factory farmed at this point, trying to get Free is like pinning the tail on the donkey. Not one among us know how to use the law, having said that there's a great story from Peru where a sick psychologist won in court and basically is the only Peruvian with the right to die. Just checked, she died in 2024 from assisted suicide. Good for you Ana Estrada!

idk if i agree with crime being a "relative notion" personally i would consider things like domestic violence, assault and child abuse crimes. so why are they wasting their time doing welfare checks?
