Why is CO considered more peaceful than SN?

If both act in the same way, why is CO considered more peaceful, shouldn't it be the same? Maybe it's because the PPH assumes high concentrations of CO which will knock you out instantly.

why comparing them if they're both can be considered 'painless' against conventional methods. in terms of pain the difference is minimal sn is just more convenient and poses no danger to others. sure both substances can make you sick but it's far away from drinking bleach or cutting yourself.

hard to say, I'd think that CO would be less painful (the gas by itself, charcoal method has heat and some smoke to deal with), tho maybe CO alarms exist in the building?

and SN is popular because it's easier to conceal? Also, I think the vomiting reduces the peacefulness.

Isn't the smoke gone once you wait a bit? I have what seems to be a smoke detector, but I've heard that they generally don't detect CO.

Yeah probably one of the reasons. Yeah the vomiting is probably a factor. You do still get nauseas on CO, but I guess you're less likely to vomit and you can still CTB if you do.
