Why have I read 2 people who took SN and survived it?

Thanks for the sheet. It includes a lot of valuable information to plan ahead for failsafes, and prepare better for bodily effects.

Because you're still very new here you & missed all the other similar posts that came before the two you read. You have only just begun to scrape the surface of what there is to know about it. As you've now learned, far more than two people have tried & failed to CTB with it. When people fail with SN there tends to be a very obvious reason why. The more SN goodbye threads you read, the clearer those reasons will become to you.

It's not always the same reason (but it often is). You can often sense who is going to fail their attempt when you read their goodbye thread. One thing I've noticed is that some who fail say they aren't sure the attempt is going to work… because they don't expect it to work, because they're just going to half-ass it, because deep down they don't want it to work because they aren't ready. Or maybe they do feel ready but they think that SN is ok to do impulsively, with no research or preparation.

The reasons why SN attempts tend to fail usually come down to:
Neglecting to test it
Not fasting
Not taking an antiemetic
Not taking enough SN or taking it with too much water
Being found too soon

If you follow those basics, you should be good, but ofc, nothing in life (or death, I guess) is guaranteed.
