There used to be N pills prescribed for sleeping, but they are no longer prescribed because benzodiazepines achieve the same result and are significantly more difficult to OD on.

Cyanide pills already exist and have since WW2. They are supposed to knock the user out in seconds.

Is that realistic or does it just appear peaceful in movies? I'm genuinely curious.

I'll echo what many other have said: the challenges aren't technical. One of the largest hurdles is the ethical struggle many have around the issue. There are some who aren't comfortable with the ethics in any circumstance. There's probably more still that are comfortable in certain circumstances but fear that the availability of such a product will enable suicide in instances they do object to - for instance suicidal teens.

The sad truth is that for every person who is truly helped by the ready availability of a peaceful ctb solution, there is another who will be harmed by it. If I'm not mistaken, of those who attempt to commit suicide but are not successful, studies show the overwhelming majority do not die by suicide later. If initial attempts had a higher success rate, there's a very good chance there would be far more people who ctb that would have found better solutions if not for the availability of an easy and effective ctb option. And I imagine even a lot of those looking to ctb can acknowledge the tragedy in that.

It's a very nuanced topic and unfortunately one with no easy answers. There are individuals who desperately need and deserve the availability of such an option. But there are others who need the high barrier to successfully ctb in order to find a better solution. It's unfortunate this makes life even more difficult for the people who are struggling most :(

Do you know any sources of Phenobarbital/Pentobarbital? Those are raw substances to produce strong sedatives of the same group as Nembutal. Since phenobarbitals in smaller doses have the same effects as narcotics, the chance is that some dealers may offer them for sale. Sadly, dealers are more willing to target drug addicts who will be coming back, generating more profit, whereas a person with a ctb plan is a one-time client. Be aware that Phenobarbital/Pentobarbital is the generic name of the entire class of different drugs marketed and sold under different trade names. Have you tried to access Chinese online pharmacies? If you have any info, about any source of ordering or buying the raw substance or any of its derivative products, please let me know via a private message.

Pheno & pento are different drugs
They are part of a class of drugs called barbiturates. Pheno/pento is not a class of drugs.
Pento = Nembutal
No street dealers can get these drugs, the precursors to produce are difficult to get.
Veterinarians have access, other than that have to do your homework to find it.
I don't know if any Chinese online pharmacies that carry N and are legit.

I agree. And it wouldn't matter what they would charge for it. This world is all about money, and I can't take it with me, anyway.
