Whiskey recommendations

Want to try some good whiskey before I'm gone and use it to knock out easier during the ctb.
Was wondering if anyone here have good whiskey recommendations (preferably on sweeter spectrum), that won't rob the bank and can be acquired in stores like LCBO or Walmart

suntory japanese whiskey is pretty good. my personal favorite is woodford reserve double oaked bourbon but it seems LCBO doesn't carry it anymore due to tariffs.
