I can write endlessly about my life and all its disappointments, but at the end of it all is one simple thread.

I don't matter.

That's it. It really boils down to the simple truth that I have never truly mattered to anyone else, I do not matter to anyone right now, and I will never matter to anyone ever. One day I will be gone, and maybe a few people will notice for a few minutes, but then it will be as if I never existed, because I never mattered.

Thank you for the sentiment. It is appreciated. But for me the suffering will only end when I finally have the courage to take the step to be done. I'm getting closer, but I'm not quite there yet.
